Scott Solkoff to be quoted in the Wall Street Journal
Esteemed Wall Street Journal columnist, Sue Shellenberger, interviewed Scott Solkoff today for an article to run in the paper’s February 5th edition. Scott Solkoff, considered a national expert on Elder Law and Special Needs issues, has been quoted in the Washington Post, the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, almost all Florida newspapers as well as numerous other national and international publications.
The article describes how caregivers can provide services to an elderly family member. Many adult children find themselves caring for aging parents. The article will describe why it may sometimes be advisable for seniors to “pay” their children and how to do so in the most tax advantaged and safest way possible. The leading published case precedent on family care agreements was won by Scott Solkoff and another of his esteemed colleagues, Nicola Jaye Boone.
