Help Elders with Alcohol Problems

Helping Others

Senior Lifestyles, Inc. is a not-for-profit which seeks to elevate the wellbeing of the over-50 population in South Florida.  For their 2008 Gala Dinner Event, Senior Lifestyles has chosen to benefit the Salvation Army’s Center of Hope.  You can help too.

The Center of Hope treats approximately 330 adults per year in their voluntary residential programs. All expenses, housing, food, medical help, counseling, and therapy are paid by the Center of Hope.  The programs are very structured, and for those client/patients who commit to a minimum of 3-months in the program and fulfill the program requirements, the Center of Hope has a success rate of over 80%.  For drug and alcohol patients, classes include: substance abuse counseling, one-on-one therapy, family sessions, group focus on anxiety, depression and abuse relationships.

How you can help:

  • Attend the Bridges to Hope Gala on March 22, 2008 at Frenchman’s Reserve in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
  • Become a sponsor of the Program.  Sponsorship opportunities start at $2,500 and can be custom-tailored to your or your business’ needs.
  • Tell others who may be interested in attending a fun event while helping this worthy cause.

Who to Call:

For tickets or sponsorhip opportunities, call Ron Kauffman of Senior Lifestyles at 561-626-4481.
